Whales are having a downright defiant 2015. Just weeks after a giant blue whale brazenly interrupted a BBC interview (an interview about whales, no less), a frustrated orca has been documented punting a seal roughly 80 feet into the air without a single ounce of remorse.
The video's description doesn't offer much in the way of an explanation, which isn't surprising given that apparently none of the people behind the camera know how to speak whale and/or seal. For theories on the chain of events that eventually inspired this remarkable (and presumably fatal) punt, we turn to the dark depths of Twitter:
To be fair, none of those theories (whale is an asshole, whale is bored, whale is just being whale) are as strong as the obvious answer here: Opportunistic seal was probably just pestering this whale about a Free Willy reboot.
Art is a sense of expression that can gain inspiration from many outlets, and the Island of Ibiza is one with fond memories that were meant to be highlighted. Showcasing the island’s upscale clubs, wild nightlife and numerous locations of fun, Untold Eivissa collaborates with Soulwax to present the artistry that is the tropical island. Additionally, each piece showcases an unmatched period of partying during a time when drugs were not yet illegal. Peep the imagery above and let us know your thoughts.
